The dark mode support is one of the most requested and long-awaited features of WhatsApp users. So, after months of beta testings, a few hours ago, WhatsApp rolled out the dark mode support for both iOS and Android.
If you still didn’t get the update, sit tight. It is gradually rolling out to its 2 billion users globally.
They have done a great job of minimizing the eye fatigue on reducing the brightness of the display and match the colors of the system defaults.
How to Enable?
If you have enabled the dark mode at the system level in iOS 13 or Android 10, WhatsApp will automatically activate the dark mode.
Users on Android 9 and below, have to enable the dark mode through WhatsApp settings > Chats > Theme >Select ‘Dark.’
